Express Thanks for these Truths about Prayer

 

In prayer, we communicate with God and He communicates with us. Pray that you will be strengthened in your prayer life and motivated to continue intercession for our nation, our military, and that we will have godly leaders.

From there [Abram] went on toward the hills east of Bethel and pitched his tent, with Bethel on the west and Ai on the east. There he built an altar to the Lord and called on the name of the Lord .

I Samuel 1:12-13, 15-16

 

So give your servant a discerning heart to govern your people and to distinguish between right and wrong. For who is able to govern this great people of yours?

I Kings 3:9

And may these words of mine, which I have prayed before the Lord, be near to the Lord our God day and night, that He may uphold the cause of His servant and the cause of His people Israel according to each day's need, so that all the peoples of the earth may know that the Lord is God and that there is no other.

I Kings 8:59-60

 

Because they cried out to him during the battle, He answered their prayers, because they trusted in Him.
